I just finished watching the documentary 'The Bleeding Edge' by filmmaker Kirby Dick. I believe everyone should watch this documentary. I am the type of person who always asks questions. Being curious and researching a new idea before a decision is made; are all good steps and yet still there are people getting hurt. I have a family doctor who has been with me for 20 years and an OB-GYN whom I have been seeing for 12 years now. My OB-GYN supported me during two pregnancies and delivered my second daughter. I feel very comfortable asking my two doctors questions and both are very professional and most important they have integrity. I will now be very careful using the term 'innovation', after watching 'The Bleeding Edge'. I am glad these documentaries are made and people care enough to share their experiences. Educating ourselves, identifying risks, speaking with several experts in particular fields of study, and connecting with individuals with similar health experiences; these steps should be the fundamental base-line.
