My husband and I went hiking with our children on January 1, 2016. Breathing in fresh-crisp air, walking among the trees and listening to the frozen snowy path crackling under each step; it was a nice change. I took a photo of this one leaf I almost missed. I was in a state of mind to notice all the lovely details the forest had to offer. If I was in a hurry state, I would have just walked by this beautiful leaf. I am very pensive about 2016. I have decided to be "off the grid" for awhile. I have 2 very special Commission Art Pieces I would love to complete this year, I was asked to teach a very small group of children in this private school, my style of 'art' (my way of paying-it-forward), art fans may be able to come across my artworks at a new location on Queen Street East (details pending), and I am going to focus on health and well-being this year. Taking the time to create soulful art with no set deadlines ~ my kind intention for myself. Happy New Year.
